Asparagus with Prosciutto

1 bunch is asparagus, cleaned and ends trimmed

1/2 lb. prosciutto

2-3 tbsp. olive oil

black pepper

Boil water in a large pot.

While water is coming up to boil, fill a large bowl with ice cubes and cold water.

Place asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, depending on thickness.

Drain asparagus and immediately transfer to ice bath for another minute or two.

Drain asparagus and pat dry.

Wrap each stem with a slice of prosciutto and arrange on a serving platter.

Drizzle with olive oil and back pepper.

This is a wonderful appetizer or side dish.
