Preheat oven 350 F.
CAKE
8 oz. softened butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking powder
8 oz. sour cream
FILLING
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. Cinnamon
1 c. chopped walnuts
2/3 c. raisins
Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda
Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla then eggs, one at a time.
Mix well.
Stir dry ingredients into batter; mix in sour cream until everything is incorporated.
Spread half of the mixture into an 8” x 8” greased pan.
In a small bowl, stir together filling mixture. Sprinkle 3/4 of the filling over the batter.
Spread remains batter over the filling and sprinkle the rest of the filling on top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Cool before serving.
