15 oz. pumpkin purée
1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of salt
1 refrigerator pie crust
Preheat oven 425 F.
Mix together pumpkin and condensed milk.
Beat in eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg then pour into crust.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350 F. and continue baking for 30-35 minutes.
Praline Topping
1/4 c. Butter
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. light brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. maple syrup
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan; add remaining ingredients and cook and stir over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Remove pie from oven. Sprinkle topping over pie and continue baking for 5 minutes.
Chill before serving.
