Skillet Scampi

1 lb. cleaned shrimp

1 tbsp. olive

4 cloves minced garlic

1 minced shallot

juice of one lemon

1/2 c. white wine or chicken broth

hot pepper seeds, garlic and onion powder to taste

2 tbsp. minced parsley

sliced lemon for serving

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan.

Sauté the shallots and seasoning for 2-3 minutes. Then add garlic and shrimp.

Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side adding additional seasoning if desired.

Pour broth or wine and lemon juice over the shrimp and continue cooking for a couple of minutes.

Top with minced parsley and fresh lemon before serving.

Perfect over spaghetti, rice or zucchini noodles.
