2 c. sifted flour

2 tsp. baking powder

Pinch of salt

2 sticks of sweet butter, room temp. Plus 2 tbsp. for the top

1 c. granulated sugar plus extra for the top

2 eggs, room temp.

1/2 c. milk or cream

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 c. fresh blueberries

Powdered sugar

Preheat oven 350 F.

Cream butter and sugar; mix in eggs, vanilla and milk or cream.

Add dry ingredients and continue mixing until everything is incorporated.

The batter will be thick. Pour batter into a greased 10" oven proof frying pan.

Arrange blueberries on top of the batter and sprinkle with sugar and dog with butter.

Bake for one hour and allow to cool before removing from the pan.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving and serve with whipped or ice cream.
